This BPC-157 + TB-500 blend pairs two peptides with separate research histories. BPC-157 is a 15-amino-acid chain derived from a protein in gastric juice, studied mostly in vascular and nitric-oxide models. Thymosin beta-4 is a 43-amino-acid protein that binds G-actin, the monomer cells use to build and reshape their internal scaffolding, which is why it's central to cell-migration research. Labs combine them to cover blood-vessel signaling and cell movement in one preparation.
The trouble is the word "TB-500." In 2012, Drug Testing and Analysis identified the acetylated 17–23 fragment of thymosin beta-4, Ac-LKKTETQ, in a product sold as TB-500. That fragment weighs under 900 Da; the full protein weighs more than five times as much. Even a 2026 analysis of independent test reports had to track TB-500 and thymosin beta-4 as separate compounds. Titan Core's blend uses full-length thymosin beta-4, and an independent lab runs every batch through mass spectrometry as well as HPLC, so a fragment can't pass as the real protein. It's made in the USA, and the downloadable report carries the same LOT number as your vial. For laboratory research only; not for human or animal use.
Research Highlights
- The first head-to-head study — In 32 rats with repaired Achilles tendons, TB-500 significantly raised load to failure, but combining it with BPC-157 added no benefit over either peptide alone (Joint Diseases and Related Surgery, 2026).
- BPC-157 in human arteries — In internal mammary artery rings from 12 bypass patients, BPC-157 relaxed vessels more with endothelium intact, and blocking nitric oxide synthase blunted it (Journal of Clinical Medicine, 2026).
- BPC-157 in limb ischemia — In rats with hind-limb ischemia-reperfusion, BPC-157 lowered malondialdehyde, restored superoxide dismutase and partly restored VEGF (Scientific Reports, 2026).
- Tracing BPC-157 metabolism — Isotope-labeled BPC-157 revealed nine metabolites, and the resulting urine method detected it at 0.01–0.11 ng/mL (Molecules, 2023).
- Thymosin beta-4 and axon repair — In zebrafish, knocking out TB4 impaired Mauthner axon regeneration and overexpressing it helped, working through G-actin binding (BMC Biology, 2024).
- Thymosin beta-4 in colitis models — Oral recombinant TB4 reduced epithelial injury and collagen I deposition in mouse colitis and suppressed mineralocorticoid-receptor signaling (Molecular Biomedicine, 2026).
- An iron-binding role — TB4 carries four iron-binding regions and blocked erastin- and glutamate-induced ferroptosis in macrophages (International Journal of Molecular Sciences, 2022).
